    [FEEDBACK WANTED] New magic chest

    Hi guys,

    We get a lot of requests for features on this forum, which is great, but we also get some requests to change how we do things here at Digit. One of these requests was to discuss possible changes to the game with the community before we implement and release them. So with that in mind I wanted to run a new idea by you guys and get some feedback.

    You all know we are loving magic chests lately, so here is our new magic chest idea: Shrine Bomb.

    What this chest would do is simply remove all commanders from all shrines in the current realm of the user that opened it.

    We see this as being an excellent engagement tool for war, without being too punishing to the defenders. I imagine a scenario playing out like this:

    - Alliance A owns Realm 1 and has occupied all of the shrines
    - Alliance B is trying to get a foothold in that same realm
    - Alliance B ports all their members to Realm 1
    - One of the alliance members that holds a Shrine Bomb opens it and clears out all shrines
    - Alliance B sends troops to shrines
    - Alliance A if online and vigilant can retake the shrines quickly, or fight for them

    This chest would not be available for general sale in the shop and would generally only be used as a tournament reward.

    Please no..... avoid magic and divine help.
    That said there would be a great chance the CoA would have such a "bomb" - think it further unbalances the game.

    People need to get their stuff togther and just be more active and coordinate. Otherwise no ammount of magic help with change the balance for the benefit of BiA and ROAR

    Idea of DaBomb is very interesting. It would make invasions much easier, especially if we are thinking about GuardHouses as well as the Shrines clearing (not sure if that's the idea). Would make invasions/realm takeovers faster, and maybe more often.

    But DaFiend is right in something - remembering that most probably it will be MoM Coa memebrs who will win those tourneys and get the bombs, it will for sure be called "another help for MoM from Digit" or "unbalancing the game even more" by some players.

    You would be better off just disabling all shrines and GH for a few days every few weeks to temporarily even the playing field. This would allow the underdogs a more fair fight to take a realm. maybe coincide it with a tournament as well so that buffed alliances do not have that as a tournament advantage.

    If an alliance can keep the realm during this time then great. If they can't, then they didn't deserve it in the first place. There would be no arguments about the buffs being the reason one alliance or another could not take a realm.

    Here's a suggestion most people should like,,,,, Uncap res or raise it to 9.5 mil or 950mil at least.

    Ummm, where were you for the last year? Because that's what's happening already - every few weeks we got a tourney where the shirnes are turned off. And guess what - the big alliances that hold the buffs usualy, leave the shrines/ghs/kts open, so those underdogs don't even have to fight them for it We leave the useless buffs to have more comms to use, and also to allow the smaller players to get that "be a king" quest done (anyone even remember there are quests in the game? )
    Of course once the shrines get their juice back, we take back the shrines.

    Grim, i believe what BlackKnight mean is "to kick comms out of the buffs and send them home" without killing them. Like a "recall spell" or such.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

    We are exploring another couple of features that will result in shrines being temporarily disabled (similar to how we have done with tournaments, but in a more consistent way). Will give more information on that one as soon as we can and shelve this one for the time being.

    To me it seems like DIGIT doesnt play the same game I do...

    Look the problem is HOLDING buffs not kicking a player OFF. Thats really easy to do. An unbuffed lvl55-60 player can easily one tap a 2kt buffed player - now even more so with the extreme SOA change. How are ROAR/BiA to hold buff when we have a +50% attack on them..

    After that it usually becomes a hob holding contest. Lets try and adress that.

    As M4rry said disabling shrines is done regularly and does nothing to help the other side. Why would you even waste time with this...?

    Anyways since you will do it anyway .. just dont go over the top... think it through before u implement.. maybe post the idea beforehand? hint hint..?

    BTW think the +15% attack to SoA working on every shrine / gh is over the top btw. +5% bit better.
